Martha Bird

Martha Bird is Chief Business Anthropologist working within ADP’s Global Strategy Organization.

Since receiving her Ph.D. in Anthropology, Martha has worked with global brands to create meaningful services, experiences, and products by both questioning and contextualizing the social and cultural dynamics of technology.

Today, she supports strategy and innovation initiatives to ensure future generations of ADP’s HCM technologies are informed by the wisdom of human cultures and the everyday encounters out of which new practices take shape, evolve and transform the way we work.

A dedicated proponent of energetic curiosity while honoring reality, Martha approaches digital technologies as cultural and social products shaped by diverse regional, technological, and organizational contexts.
